Job Description

Covalen is seeking to fill a position as a Personal Lines Broker. The incumbent must ensure customer satisfaction by meeting their needs and maintaining excellent relations with the various internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Provide high-quality customer service and work collaboratively with all team members;
  • Ensure customer retention;
  • Perform risk analysis, assess needs and offer appropriate products for renewals, change requests and new business;
  • Negotiate with several insurers;
  • Ensure collection of accounts receivable;
  • Follow up on insurers' recommendations;
  • Assist customers with claims, report to insurers and follow up on claims.

Your profile and skills

  • Hold the title of a personal-lines damage insurance agent or broker and a valid license (AMF);
  • 1 year's experience in personal lines insurance (brokerage an asset);
  • Excellent command of MS Office software;
  • Excellent knowledge of various insurer portals (Intact, L'Unique, Promutuel, Aviva, Chubb, etc.) an asset;
  • Knowledge of Epic and Tarif Expert software (an asset);
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (oral and written).
