Job description
The incumbent must ensure customer satisfaction by responding to their needs and maintaining excellent relations with internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities include
- Handle new business and renewals within the prescribed deadlines;
- Ensure customer retention;
- Conduct risk analysis, review coverage and identify necessary changes or omissions from the last renewal;
- Prepare insurance proposals for the previous year and for the new year;
- Prepare, review and send various insurance documents (quote, cover notes, invoices, certificates of insurance, endorsements, etc.);
- Collect information to update clients;
- Collaborate with the producer to develop marketing strategies;
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Negotiate renewal and modification conditions (endorsement) with insurers;
- Ensure collection of accounts receivable in collaboration with the Finance Department;
- Follow up on insurers' recommendations and inform the producer of any issues;
- Handle policyholder claims and assist as required to the claim department or insurer;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Your profile and skills
- Hold a valid Commercial property and casualty insurance broker with a valid license (AMF) and a RIBO License;
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in aviation or 5-8 years of experience in commercial insurance brokerage;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to regularly serve the Western Canada market and Fluency in spoken and written French is considered a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office;
- Knowledge of the EPIC software is an asset;
- Team player;
- Strong sense of responsibility;
- Must be based in Montreal or Western Canada.
